He opened the season at Anza Beach in Agadir by winning every heat he surfed. In the semi he dropped a 10, with a massive air reverse in the final minute. He then beat Morocco’s own Chajri Badr Eddine in the final, 15.50 to 12.75.
Antofagasta 🇨🇱
2 from 2. In the semi he posted the highest heat total of the day with an 8.00 backflip and an 8.50 invert. In the final he backflipped his way to a 15.25 against Chile’s Moisés Silva.
Itacoatiara 🇧🇷
The streak ended in Brazil. Chile’s Matías Díaz closed the final with an 8.50 air reverse and beat him to the win. Even so, Tristan finished 2nd and banked another big result.
Gran Canaria 🇪🇸
He arrived at The Beast on 14,300 points, clear at the top of the rankings. One heat to finish the job, and he finished it.
